Sakuya Shimazu (島津 朔邪 Shimazu Sakuya) is the main heroine of the series. She is a second-year high school student from a rich family operating to seal spectors.
Appearance[]
Sakuya is a young, fair-skinned girl who always wears her normal second-year high school uniform. She wears a red and yellow bow in her blond hair in a hime-style.
Personality[]
Sakuya seems to be what people call a tsundere. She can get easily embarrassed and uses violence to stop being embarrassed. She has great potential and refers herself like a "rich girl" because of her abilities. Sakura has a fear of rats and cockroaches.
Although she maintains a haughty attitude, her facade hides a young lady who just wants to live like a normal person. When Shinichirō discovers her True Name, she becomes unable to disobey any of his orders. the Isuca is supposed to bring luck and prevent illness.
Plot[]
She is the temporary 37th heir to her family bloodline. She doesn't seem to have a good relationship with her family and refuses to live with them.
Abilities[]
Sakuya is the de facto or provisional 37th head of the Shimazu Family, her tasked is to seal Spectre (monsters, ghost and spirits) that cross over into this world. She can able perform a barrier to protect herself.
- Archery [Archery Mastery] : She uses a bow and arrow with several spiritual attacks in combat and, when charged-up by Shinichirō, those attacks are amplified ten-fold.
- Spiritual attack [Shimazu Style Bow Spirit Technique]: release/use spiritual elements to attacks of various shapes and/or intensities, either projected, used as a part of melee attacks, etc.
- Shimazu Style Bow Spirit Technique: Tsumuha: This attack able to pierce to the enemy with lightning base attack.
- Shimazu Style Bow Spirit Technique: Tsumugare: This technique Split the arrow into three arrows and it deals severe damage to Spectre.
- Shimazu Style Bow Spirit Technique: Murasame: The technique itself of nocking and shooting one single arrow with her bow. Sakuya aims at the sky as they begin to shine, before releasing them at a great enough speed that they sixteen arrow or more can pierce through the clouds while leaving behind a glittering trail. Shortly after, there comes a faint light filling the sky and a sound similar to falling rain, but instead of it being a rain of water, it is a rain of arrows of light falling onto the enemies like a downpour the arrow contains Spiritual energy on it. The single arrows are powerful enough to make severe wounds to the enemy.
- Shimazu Style Bow Spirit Technique: Hioboro: This technique is formed by crafting the arrowhead into the hand of the user and it glow to red, it can be fire a bullet projectile or can fired a multiple at once by releasing on the hand. This technique may be used at counter attack or suprise attack, This attack is fire base element due to red color.
- Shimazu Style Bow Spirit Final Technique: Habakiri: This technique overloading them with spiritual energy to generate overwhelming destructive power which it glows to yellow that explodes upon contact with a target to able to thrust at the opponent's to head or to heart. Enchant: "A bow of any wood, be it catalpa, spindle or zelkova recedes when the arrow is fired. Send this spirit home"
- Shimazu Style Bow Spirit Final Sealing Technique: Susanoo: This attack overloading them with spiritual energy to generate overwhelming destructive power which it glows to yellow, it can break any form of barrier when it contact with a target can deal massive damage to the enemy. Upon contact to the target it can be sealed without knowing the name of the specter. The downside of this technique it consume huge amount of spiritual energy.

After Shinichirō Asano discovers that her 'True Name' is Isuca she becomes unable to disobey him, in order to save face with her family she forces him to become her fiancé - even if in name only she also has feelings for him.
